The
vision of Hale Maluhia Country Inn is to be a "house of peace." However,
that does not exclude all unwanted local Hawaiian Up-country distractions.
The Inn is very comfortable and truly a touch of old Hawai'i. But it is
not possible to totally control our environment in our beautiful Hawaii
setting. Wild turkeys may sometimes make a racket. Rancher Gomes's hunting
dogs, across from us, may smell a wild feral pig and want to go hunting.
Our little country road is sometimes busy during commuting hours and at
other time. Air purifiers are provide to control vog, (volcanic dust) and
make white noise if needed. We have soft ear plugs available if desired.
Also Hawaii is the bug capital of the world. It may take five floors up or
more to keep you away from flying insects. We do not consider this a
problem at our Inn but we do live in the country. So if bugs are a problem
for you, please call and talk to us. Ken or Sue, 1-800-559-6627
