Hale Kona is a very private home of over 1,300 sq. ft. The home has 2 large bedrooms which can be either set up with twin beds or king beds. Each room has a private bathroom. There is also a powder room in the hall with shower making 3 bath rooms in all. The slightly larger room, Malia, has a full bath with cast iron soaker tub and shower, koa cabinets and a French door out into a private yard area with table, seating and a large sun umbrella for quiet undisturbed reading. The Makua Room (Grandfather's) has a large shower and A.C., Decorated as a man's room. The home has a dining room for 6 with a large 16'x26' living room and a 10'x 26' lanai overlooking waterfalls, fish pond and bird feeding station. Hale Kona is very private and secluded yet only 3 miles from Kailua-Kona and the beaches. This spacious accommodation has an amply provided kitchen with Hawaiian Koa cabinets, dishwasher, excellent top of the line gas range. Ideal for two couples or family of four. Includes a a full buffet breakfast of Island fruit in season, fresh homemade bread, pastries, juice, omelet bar, cereals, milk, tea, and coffee. This home is wheel chair friendly with no steps at all, inside or out. Daily house keeping is available at an additional 15%.
